Dylan Thomas

The purpose of this website is to celebrate the beauty of the English Language as in Claire Marchionne’s reading of Pied Beauty by Gerard Manley Hopkins and of Shakespeare’s Sonnets, a full audio version of Siegfried Sassoon’s poetry, Bob Pierson’s commentary on Dylan Thomas, a new translation by David Cook of Rainer Maria Rilke’s Sonnets, a cycling pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela with Shaun’s 12 year old son, Seamus and The Gospel of St. John read by Shaun MacLoughlin.

A recent enthusiasm and ambition of ours is to produce the Lives of the Composers; thus to enhance both music and language. Please see BachBeethovenMozartSaintsaensTchaikovskyVerdi and Wagner.

We are particularly keen to encourage the younger generation to enjoy the beauty of English.

A fun way for foreign students to learn English is through acting in plays.

The Birds Who Flew Beyond Time

With this in mind we are opening a major new website to teach English through Drama.

It contains 56 courses for both teachers and parents of kindergarten, elementary and secondary school children.

We make a free gift to schools and theatres of the script of The Birds Who Flew Beyond Time, so that this beautiful ecological and spiritual drama may be produced throughout the world.

For those interested in Ecology and Spirituality please see

The treasure of our tongue, to what strange shores
